VoxPopuli English (ESB test)

The English VoxPopuli test split as packaged by the ESB benchmark and used by the Hugging Face Open ASR Leaderboard: 1,842 utterances of European Parliament speech, largely from non-native speakers. Scores are corpus word error rate in percent after Whisper English normalization; lower is better. Artificial Analysis's manually corrected 628-record subset is a separate benchmark (voxpopuli-cleaned-aa).
