Claude Instant 1.1

Claude Instant 1.1 is the mid-2023 version of Anthropic's lighter, lower-cost Claude Instant model, served through the API as claude-instant-1.1 until Claude Instant 1.2 replaced it. The Claude 2 model card and the Claude Instant 1.2 announcement report its benchmark results as the baseline for later Claude models.
