The original Gemini 3 Deep Think mode, previewed with Gemini 3 Pro on November 18, 2025 and rolled out on December 4, 2025 to Google AI Ultra subscribers in the Gemini app by selecting Deep Think with Gemini 3 Pro. It uses parallel reasoning to explore multiple hypotheses and has no public API identifier. This row is the 2025 hosted mode; the February 12, 2026 upgrade built on Gemini 3.1 Pro is tracked separately as gemini-3-deep-think.
