Tencent Hunyuan's open Hy4 preview mixture-of-experts language model for coding, office analysis and agentic work. The publisher documents a reasoning_effort chat-template control (high or no_think), and the released configuration supports 1,048,576 positions. The card reports rounded backbone figures of 770B total and 49B active parameters, excluding a separate MTP layer of about 10B; the complete released checkpoint contains 779,960,992,733 parameters; architecture dimensions likewise describe the 78-layer backbone. Tencent announced the release and open-sourcing on August 28, 2026.
